A silver Roman denarius of Galba (AD 68-69) dating from April, AD 68 to the end of the year, c.AD 68-69 (Reece period 3). Spanish mint (Tarraco?).
Obverse: GALBA IMPERATOR (Emperor laureate facing right).
Reverse: ROMA RENASC (Roma walking right, holding a small figure of Victory and transverse sceptre).

A struck/ hammered silver denarius of Vitellius, minted in Tarraco(?), Spain between c. January - June AD 69: VICTORIA AVGVSTI, RIC I, no. 14.
diameter: 17.8mm; width: 2mm; weight: 3.42g). The coin is slightly worn and in a fine condition with most of the detail visible.
