A silver denarius of Augustus dating to the period of c. 25 BC to 23 BC (Reece Period 1). P CARISIVS LEG PRO PR reverse type depicting a helmet between a dagger and a bipennis. Mint of Emerita. RIC i (rev.ed.), p.41, no. 7a. The coin measures 18.3mm in diameter, 1.9mm thick and weighs 3.48g.
