Heavily corroded silver denarius of Caesar, Minted in Spain between 46-45BC. The reverse shows a trophy with carnyx and oval shield on each arm; beneath on left is seated female captive resting head on right hand; beneath on right is a bearded captive seated with hands tied behind back. It is suggested that the captives are Gauls. Caesar's conquest of
Gaul took from 58 to 52 BC.
