A silver Roman denarius of the Civil Wars, dating to the period c.AD 68-69 (Reece period 3). I O [M/AX] CAPITOLINVS reverse type depicting Jupiter seated left in distyle temple holding thunderbolt and sceptre. Struck in Gaul by probably pro-Vitellian forces. As RIC I (2nd ed.), pp. 213-214, nos. 127-128. Diameter 17.85mm, weight 3.10g.
