A base silver Roman denarius of Septimus Severus (AD 193-211), dating to the period c.AD 202 (Reece Period 10). COS III P P reverse type depicting Victory, winged, draped, advancing left, holding wreath in extended right hand and palm sloped over left shoulder in left hand. This coin is very base and is possibly an irregular (plated?) copy rather than a base silver issue. Prototype of the Mint of Laodicea ad Mare. cf. RIC IV.1, p. 163, no. 526. Diameter: 17.5 mm Weight: 2.6 g

Roman denarius of Julia Domna, LAETITIA reverse. The dark colour of the coin and green pitting of the reverse suggests the coin may be a contemporary copy in base silver. The coin is in fair condition, is 16mm in diameter and weighs 2.73g.
