Two Roman silver denarii. As the coins are both silver and were found together, they are considered potential treasure. Coin 1: a denarius of the emperor Geta as Caesar (198 - 209 AD), RIC Volume IV, part I, page 316 number 18. A similar reverse is illustrated in RIC VI, plate XIV, number 13. Rome mint 200 - 202 AD. Coin 2: illegible denarius, probably dating to the late second or early third century AD. Diameter c.16mm; Thickness: 1.93mm; Weight 1.11g. Both the coins are chipped.
