A Roman silver denarius of Septimus Severus (AD193-211), probably dating to AD 195 (Reece Period 10), [P M TR P III] COS II P P, Minerva standing left with round shield and spear. RIC IV, pt 1, p. 98, cf. 61. Obverse legend reads L SEPT SEV/[...]. Obverse shows Laureate head right. Die axis is 12 o'clock. Weight is 1.99g, diameter is 16.9mm, thickness is 2.5mm.
