A Roman copper alloy denarius (probably a silver-washed denarius) of Geta, dating to the period AD 203 - 208. Reece Period 10. The obverse has the draped bust right, with Minerva standing left, leaning on shield and holding sceptre, on the reverse. The coin has been broken in antiquity loosing around 25% of the rim/coin. A base silver denarius of Elagabalus c. 218 - 222 AD. Reece Period 10. The obverse has the laureate draped bust right and the reverse has a standing figure left, with spear. The coin has a silver finish but with clear signs of a copper alloy core. The rim is damage with two small 'notches'.
