An incomplete Post Medieval silver groat of Mary (1553-58). Dated to 1553-54. North 1960 The coin is very worn to the obverse. It has breaks to the edges and is possibly lightly clipped. Obverse: extremely worn, with the only remnant of the bust being a small section of beading from the dress. Inscription [ANG] F[R]A [Z] [HIB] [REGI] Reverse: Long cross fourchée over royal shield. Inscription VERITA[S] [TEMPORIS] FILIA. Due to damage the mint mark is not visible.
