A Post Medieval silver sixpence, possible dating c. AD 1660-1700. The coin appears purposefully smoothed possibly to form a 'love token' although the coin does not appear to have been bent. There appear to be a number of lines etched onto the coin. Due to the abrasion, the monarch and reverse are uncertain. Bust facing right.
The coin measures 20 mm in diameter, 0.76 mm in thickness. It weighs 2.34 grams.
