Silver coin. Hammered coin of an indeterminate foreign issuer with chipped edges resulting in loss of most of legend. Possibly Early Post-Medieval issue of 1500-1600, possibly related to Antwerp in the Low Countries. The finder kindly suggests this to be a half reale of the Spanish Netherlands dated 1560-1566, which is a suggestion followed below [numismatic record].
