An incomplete lead Post Medieval contemporary copy of a farthing of George II (AD 1727-1760). Britannia depicted seat on the reverse with the date, 1746, in exurge. Compare to Spink 3720. London mint. Spink (2000: 356). Coin is much chipped around the edge.
Overall dimensions: 22.23mm in diameter, 1.85mm in thickness and 4.90g in weight.

A contemporary copy of an 18th century silver Portuguese coin; probably a 200 reis coin of Ioannes V dating from 1706 - 1750. The coin is crudely cast in lead and there is a bend and crack in the flan. The reverse of the coin is almost worn smooth. Measurements; diameter 27.7mm, thickness 2.8mm, weight 14.58g.
Obverse: IOANNES V D G PORT ET [ALG] REX. Crowned arms of Portugal flanked by four rosettes on the right, and illegible markings on the right as viewed.
Reverse [IN HOC] SIG[NO VINCES]. Maltese cross with a quatrefoil or flower in each angle.
