Reverse: Four crowned shields placed in cruciform pattern, with a possible uncrowned lion shield in the centre.
Inscription: 97 MAG BR FRA [ET] HIB REX16.
The coin measures 25.37mm diameter, 1.28mm thick and weighs 5.49.

An incomplete, extremely worn Post-Medieval silver shilling probably of William III (AD 1694-1701) dating to 1695-1701.
About a third of the coin is missing and it is extremely worn with no details surviving. There is a slight transverse bend, suggesting it may have been modified as a love token.
Measurements: diameter 25.25mm, weight 1.89g.

The coin has been purposefully abraded and opposite edges bent, forming a shallow S profile. The vague bust of William III can still be seen. No marks or letters present, so possibly uncompleted.
