An incomplete post medieval silver coin, probably a halfgroat of Mary I (1553-4) with very worn faces. Cf. North Vol II, p.126 no.1961.

Post-Medieval coin of Mary (1553-4). It is probably a groat or half-groat. The coin is broken and the top portion missing. The obverse is completely worn and illegible, and it has been folded and cracked. The reverse shows part of a long cross fourchee over a shield. Of the inscription only MPOR is visible.
