Reverse: Crowned hemispheres flanked by pillars, VTRA QUE VNUM (both as one). The date has an upside-down letter 5. Minted in Mexico.

A Post Medieval Spanish 1 real of Ferdinand VI (AD1746-1759), dating AD 1748. The coin has been severely damaged so that not much remains. A crowned Spanish shield is visible on the obverse with the letter I to the left, with rosettes above and below. The inscription is illegible but would have read FRD·VI·D·G·HISP·ET IND·R. The reverse depicts crowned globes flanked by crowned and bannered pillars with royal crowns, over water. A postmedieval lead alloy (possibly pewter) copy of a coin. The coin is a copy of a silver eight reale of Ferdinand VI of Spain (1746 - 1759). The item appears to have been cast rather than struck and is very worn. The last digit of the date is worn, so the coin can be dated to AD 1750, 1756 or 1759.
