An incomplete silver Post Medieval halfpenny of the Commonwealth (AD 1649-1660). Standard type (North 2730). London mint. North (1991: 206). Coin has been pierced at 2 o'clock on the reverse and a small par of the edge folded at 10 o'clock.
Overall dimensions: 9.35mm in diameter, 1.17mm in thickness (2.46mm in thickness where coin has been pierced) and 0.24g in weight.
