Silver halfgroat of Charles I Initial mark: Rose (probably)Tower mint. The coin has been pierced from the reverse to the obverse with a smooth spherical hole. It has been pierced at a position of six o'clock on the reverse. This corresponds with a position of ten o'clock on the obverse. The coin is in very worn and slightly corroded. The position of the hole would suggest that the reverse was designed to be seen.

Post Medieval silver penny of Charles I. North 2262. Both the obverse and reverse depict a rose. Obverse legend .C:D:G:ROSA SINE SPINA, Reverse legend: .IVS:THRONVM:FIRMAT. The coin is in good condition with only a fine level of ware. It has a diameter of 14mm, is 0.44mm thick and weighs 0.37 grams.
