A broken silver coin of Charles I. The coin is very worn so both the obverse and the reverse are unclear, and the break is behind the bust on the obverse so removing the mark which would have identified the denomination. It is probably an English penny, but it could be a Scottish 20 pence, or a Scottish 2 shilling.
