A worn Post Medieval silver siege sixpence of Charles I, minted at Scarborough, dating to c. AD 1644-1645 (North 2652). It is broadly hexagonal in form and depicts a Castle gate within a pelleted border with the letters 'VID' below. The reverse is plain.
