However, there is no evidence to suggest that the coin ceased to circulate as currency before its loss so it has not been put forward as a potential Treasure find. It is worn and cracked. There is an inner circle on the obverse, but probably not on the the reverse. This indicates that the coin is from Group D (North 2269), Group E (North 2272), or Group G (North 2273) of the Charles I coinage.
