A very worn copper alloy rose farthing of Charles I (1625-49) dating c. 1639-43.
The obverse shows a single arched crown with two sceptres in saltire through it. The inscription is very worn, visible is CAROLV D G
The reverse bears a single arched crown above a single rose. The inscription reads FRA E[…]HI REX, ending with a crescent privy mark.
