An incomplete silver hammered Post-Medieval halfgroat of King Charles I (AD 1625-1649), probably of Group D (North, II, 1991, No. 2256, p. 162), likely type 3a2-3. The bust on the obverse of the coin has been worn away, although it may be possible to see the Roman numeral 'II' to the right. The reverse contains inner circles and a garnished oval shield featuring the Royal Coat of Arms.
