Legend: '[CAROLVS D] G M B F [ET H REX]'. Reverse: oval shield with royal coat of arm. Legend: '[IUSTITIA THRONUM ]FIRMAT'.

An incomplete and worn Post-Medieval copper-alloy Royal farthing token of Charles I (r. AD1625-1649), Maltraver round type, minted AD1634-1636, North no. 2280-282.
Obv.: Crown with two sceptres in saltire. Leg.: '[+]CAROLVS [D G M]AG BRIT'. Rev.: Crowned harp, Double crown. Leg.: '[FRAN ET HIB] REX'. Initial marks are not visible, due to wear which prevents pinning down of subtype, the coin is missing part of its legend to a break around the circumference roughly 5 o'clock - 7 o'clock on the obverse.
Measurements: 16.56mm in diameter, 0.61mm thick and 0.33g in weight.

A struck silver penny of Charles I. North 2261-2273. It is very worn on both sides, making it difficult to read. Portions of the edges are missing due to old breaks, also obscuring the legend. The coin is pierced at approximately 3 o'clock on the obverse. It measures 12.5 mm DIA and weighs 0.35 g.
