An extremely worn, incomplete Post Medieval silver penny of Charles I (AD 1625-1649) dating AD 1625-1649. Possibly Group D. Uncertain initial mark. No inner circles. See North (1991) Vol.2 pg.162 no.2268. Parts of the outer edge of the coin are missing and there is a c.2.65mm tear near the centre of the obverse from around 5 o'clock to around 6 o'clock with two c.0.90mm long tears at either end of the main tear.
