Obverse: Kings bust left with 'II' behind CAROIVS DG [MAG FR ET HIB REX] Reverse: Oval garnished shield IUST [ITIA T]HRON (UM) FIRMAT. Mint Mark: Sceptre (109), Mint Name: Tower, London. Die Axis: 90 deg. Very worn condition, surface tarnished grey and some clipping. Ref: Coins of England and the UK 38th Edition, Spink 2003, page 265, No. 2849 or 2850.
