A silver post medieval coin; a half groat of Charles I (1625 – 1649), hammered coinage (1625 – 1631), fourth bust. The initial mark is illegible. The coin has a diameter of 16.7mm and is 0.9mm thick. It weighs 1g. The coin is badly worn in places, but clear in others. For reference see North Volume II, numbers 2256 – 2257.
