Description: A post-medieval silver 'siege piece' struck at Newark. The coin is lozenge shaped and has a circular hole at the apex. The obverse depicts a crown with two pelleted arches flanked either side by C and R. Beneath the crown are the numerals VI, denoting the value of sixpence. There is a lozenge shaped pelleted border. The obverse has been struck off centre, with the pellets on the lower left side of the border cut by the edge of the flan.
