An extremely worn and corroded 17th-century copper-alloy post-medieval rose farthing of Charles I, London mint (1636-1644 AD).
This coin appears to have been perforated at the circumference for re-use as an item of jewellery; the hole has abraded through. The perforation is at broadly 12 o'clock on the obverse surface.
