A Post-Medieval silver coin, probably a half-groat of Charles I, 1625-1649 AD. The coin is worn and the edges are broken and parts of the coin are missing due to old and new breaks. The obverse is too worn for identification, and the coin measures 15.39mm in diameter and weighs 0.61g.

The flan is bent and there has been an attempted piercing behind the king's head where the mark of value appears. It is 15.5mm in diameter and 0.6mm thick. It weighs 0.82gm. Reference: North, volume 2, numbers 2256-2258.
