The coin has been trimmed out of register from the die rolled strip such that the edge of the adjacent coin can be seen on the extremity of the reverse flan. The legend is badly blundered with mis-placed colon stops. Obverse: CA:RO : DG [...] :RI. Reverse; [...]H[.]B : REX. Copy initial mark saltire cross. Possibly a test piece. Circa 1625-1631.
