A post-medieval, silver halfgroat of Charles I (1625-49), minted at London. Group D and Tun initial mark (1636-8). See North 1991, p. 162 no. 2257. The bust on the obverse in worn with little detail remaining. No beaded inner circle. It is slightly clipped and struck off-centre on the reverse. The coin is slightly bent.
