A post medieval silver halfcrown of Charles I (1625-49), Fifth horseman (North 2215), initial mark: sun dating to 1645-6, mint: Tower under Parliament. Ref: North 1991: p.159. The coin is very worn on both obverse and reverse, the fan irregular in shape, its weight suggesting that it has been heavily clipped.
