The obverse shows King enthroned holding an orb and sceptre. There is a pillar to the right of the throne. radiant star on the obverse before the H in the legend (to the right of the crown). The legend reads: H* D G ROSA SIE]SPIA.
The reverse shows royal shield divided by a long cross. C D to either side of shield Legend reads: CIVI/TAS/ DVR/RAM.

Obverse is inscibed H D D ROSA SIE SPIA. Facing king enthroned holding orb and sceptre with star above.
Reverse is inscribed CIVITAS DURRAM. Cross fourchee over royal shield TW beside and hat below.
There is a round piercing from the reverse to the obverse near the centre of the coin obscuring parts of the design of the coin.
