Description: This is a 1-cash coin of Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty (AD 1644 - 1911), minted at the Board of Works in Beijing. Obverse: DAOGUANG TONG BAO (Daoguang Circulating Treasure) Reverse: BOO YUWAN (Board of Works Mint, Treasure) Discussion: The Board of Works was one of the two principal mints in Beijing, where the majority of coins were minted. The obverse appears to show a figure and perhaps crossed swords whilst the reverse is illegible.
