A Post Medieval silver sixpence re-used as a 'love token' dating to c.1660-1760.
Purposefully abraded and bent on opposite sides to form a shallow S- shaped profile. The obverse is entirely illegible, but the reverse still displays a part of the cruciform of crowned shields enabling dating of the coin. No marks or letters present, so possibly uncompleted.

A contemporary forgery of a George III Halfpenny confirmed by Greg Spink of Spinks London. Apparently common around this possible date of 1775 (the last digit in exergue is not fully identifiable). A fragment of a Post Medieval contemporary forgery of a 2 Thaler coin of the City of Cologne, German States, dating from AD1569 - 1572. The coin is lead-alloy, with the original coin being made of silver. The fragment consists of the 9 - 11 o'clock section of the obverse, and 5 - 7 o'clock section of the reverse.
