A Post-Medieval siver coin of uncertain type, re-used as a keepsake or love token, probably dating to c.1550-1750. Purposefully abraded on both sides and bent into an S-shaped profile (although one side has since straightened again, leaving behind the crease) and elaborately stamped with the letters E F (with several mistakes) on one side and a very neat T W in a rectangular border on the other. The coin then seems to have been re-used again with an S stamped on one side and an R on the other. Diameter 19.1mm, thickness 0.7mm, weight 1g.
