Silver coin. A very worn milled coin, possibly a sixpence with traces of two folds suggesting use as a keepsake, a treatment especially common for sixpences of William III (1694-1702). Original features are lost, but letters in post-medieval style are struck off-centre on both sides: one bears the letter O; the other side bears the seriffed initials WT/O. These letters do not partake of the heavy wear which has erased original features of the coin. Diameter: 20.6mm, Weight: 1.24gms
