A complete silver post-medieval sixpence 'love token' of William III (AD 1689-1702) dating to AD 1696. London mint. As Spink 3520. The coin has been slightly bent twice, into elongated 'S' shaped profile, probably as a love token. Part of the reverse is worn smooth, although most of the design on both sides is legible. A small segment of the flan has been clipped, likely the result of an encounter with agricultural machinery in the plough soil. Thickness: 0.7 mm Weight: 2.8 g Diameter: 20.5 mm
