An incomplete silver Halfgroat of Charles I (AD 1625-1649). Group D. IVSITITIA THRONVM FIRMAT reverse type around garnished oval shield. (P) initial mark, letter P in brackets. London (Tower) mint. AD 1643-1644 Diameter: 16.11mm, Thickness: 0.76mm, Weight: 0.8g North Vol II, P 162, No 2258. The coin has been bent into an ā€œSā€ shape indicating it may have been used as a love token. The coin is missing a small portion of its outer flan between 12-3 and 7-9 O'clock
