An incomplete early Post-Medieval halfpenny of Henry VII (AD 1485-1509) or VIII (AD 1509-1547). Obverse legend is completely illegible most having been clipped or broken away. Obverse shows a forward facing crowned bust probably bi-foliate. Reverse shows a solid long cross with three pellets in each quarter. Reverse legend reads: [...].[...]/EBO/[...]. Minted at York. Die axis is possibly 12 o'clock. Weight is 0.25g, diameter is 13.4mm, thickness is 0.5mm.
