An incomplete copper alloy T-shaped Roman brooch, Large south-western type of AD 2nd century date. The foot and base of the pin are missing.  The wings are cylindrical and house an iron axis bar for the pin. At the head is the stub of a pierced headplate. The head is flat and angled downwards from the wings. Below this, the bow is angled further and tapers to the break. The front of the bow is decorated with two moulded longitudinal ridges.

An incomplete copper alloy Aucissa brooch dated to the Roman period, c. AD 43-80. Mackreth 2011, Aucissa Type 2.b, Plate 90, no.8687. Head fragment of a Colchester derivative Hinged pin Roman brooch. The fragment consists of a perpendicular collared head-loop, below which the head of the incurving tapering D-shaped cross-section bow springs. The arching bow fractures transversely after a short distance across a line of raised decoration. A short tubular wing casing encloses the iron axis bar for the hinged pin which is let into a central slot in the casing. Only a stub of the rectangular-section pin remains. Dimensions: Extant length 19mm, width 12mm. weight 3.87g.

A large Roman copper alloy T-shape type brooch in incomplete condition. The head of the brooch displays a plate, above a surviving but deteriorated spring mechanism. The plate is decorated with a repeated linear design and has damage to the upper edge; its shape suggesting remnants of a headloop. The wings have a similar design at their culmination. The bow is smooth, undecorated, and is missing its foot and catch-plate. The pin is lost.
