A cast copper alloy Medieval altarpiece. The figures are represented in high-relief on the outer surface, but the reverse is hollow forming a sub ‘C’ shaped section. The reverse has a well developed shiny dark green patina. The outer face of the mount depicts three standing figures with the taller figure appearing to hold a child. The third figure is possibly kneeling towards the other two figures. The figures are wearing drapery, however any other details of the figures are not clear due to corrosion and surface abrasion.
