A copper alloy Roman coin of Severus II - 306 to 307 AD. The obverse has the laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right and the reverse depicts Genius standing left, modius on head, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, holding patera and cornucopiae. There is a Line star in right field with mintmark PLN. RIC VI Lyons 193 var (star type).

A complete Roman copper-alloy nummus of Severus II as Caesar, dating c. 305-307 AD. Reece period 15, mint of London. Reverse; GENIO POPVLI ROMANI, Genius standing left wearing modius on head, holding patera and cornucopia. RIC vol. VI, p. 128, no. 59a. The obverse of the coin is preserved in extremely good condition, whereas the reverse is extremely corroded with little of the original surface remaining.
