An incomplete cylindrical wooden container, box or canister, 73.8mm in diameter and 101mm in height. Around half of the object remains. There is a ridge around the inner circumference of the base and dimples at the centre of the inner and exterior base suggesting manufacture by turning on a lathe. The exterior is decorated with 16 fine incised bands. There are no fittings or attachments. The open end is not rebated for a fitted lid.

A wooden pulley sheave of Post Medieval date, about AD 1800 - 1950, probably from ship's rigging. It is a circular disc of wood, with a circular central hole of 53mm diameter. Around the hole on both faces is a trefoil shaped recess, with a smaller hole through the disc in the centre of each lobe. These holes are of 10 - 11mm diameter. A Post Medieval wooden sole (patten) dating late 17th - 18th century. The wooden sole is waisted but the heel is missing. The leather upper is incomplete and is attached to the sole with iron studs. Complete wooden spoon or scoop of probable Post-Medieval date. It is hand carved. It measures 246mm in length and 70mm wide across the bowl. The handle is oval in cross-section and measures 20mm wide and 32mm deep, flaring towards the bowl. The bowl of the scoop has a pointed oval form, with an indentation approximately 45mm deep. A scale tang knife handle with wooden handle scales, an iron tang and copper alloy rivets, probably of Post Medieval date, about AD 1770 - 1900. It is sub-rectangular, slightly wider at one end and with the wider end rounded. There are three solid rivets surviving along the centre of the handle, fairly evenly spaced. They pass through the whole thickness of the handle, so this cannot be part of a folding penkife, but is probably a piece of cutlery. A wooden "whipping" top (a top which was kept in motion by the use of a whip), 63.1mm in length, made from a hard lathe-turned wood, possibly boxwood or a fruit wood. The top is pear-shaped with a pointed iron tip at the base and a flat, slightly concave top which has been painted red. There are seven circumferential grooves around the lower part and two around the upper part. There are letters A H in faded black ink on one side and, less clearly, (HV) on the other. Some of these may be the initials of the owner. Early 19th century.

An incomplete Roman boxwood double-sided comb dating from AD 50-410. The one-piece comb has been formed from a single piece of boxwood. The comb is a double-sided 'H' format with teeth on both sides of a central reserve. The comb is lentoid shaped in section with a set of coarse teeth on one side of the central reserve and a set of fine teeth on the other. Ball made of horse hair and straw probably dated from the post-medieval to modern period 1700 to 1900AD. It is unknown what the ball for it may well be home made and maybe related to local games such as knurr and spell and potty knocking. But the balls for these were usually ceramic.
