A complete tin-alloy (pewter) snuff box of Post Medieval to Modern date (c. AD 1800-1900). The object is two parts; the lid and base. Both are rectangular in shape, with rounded edges. The lid is contained by a thick bordered edge and within the border is the sub-rectangular hinged lid. The upper edge consists of the hinges and the lower edge has a slight central lip for lifting open. A cast copper-alloy single looped sub-rectangular buckle of Post Medieval date(c.1500-1650) The sides of the frame of the buckle are thickened, with a flat front edge, angling off to the side of the frame. The strap bar is expanded on either side, beyond the buckles frame, terminating in a semi-circular knop. The front edge of the buckles frame has a trefoil shaped knop prodruding from its central point. The reverse of the buckle is flat. The buckle has a mid-grey patina, suggesting that it has a high tin content. Length: 26.93, width: 26.59, thickness: 2.89mm and weight: 5.20g.

An incomplete tin alloy spoon dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1725). The remains of the spoon consist of the oval-shaped bowl, with chipped edges and partial stem. There is a sub-triangular 'rat tail' terminal affixing the stem to the bowl, which extends over 60% of the length of the underside of the bowl. The object is brownish-grey in colour. Similar examples recorded on the PAS database include: BERK-CB6B12; PUBLIC-50A8E7; IOW-93EDC1; and LANCUM-E4AF66. The object measures 80mm in length and 46mm in width, making it likely to have been a serving spoon.
