A complete lead-alloy spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date, c.AD 1100 - 1600. Walton Rogers Form C. The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a central perforation running through it. Both surfaces have faint traces of moulded decoration though the object is worn obscuring the exact design. The metal has a mid-brown patina and is worn.
