An incomplete Post-Medieval lead-alloy toy in the form of a horse and rider, probably dating 17th to 18th century. It is a Type 5 Equestrian figure (Forsyth and Egan 2005), being flat with mouldings on both sides. The rider can be seen with a wide-brimmed hat and long coat with wide cuffs, and long cuffed boots. The figure is holding onto the reigns of the horse. The horse has a decorative saddle and appears to be moving with pace, although one hind leg is missing and the other hind leg is bent upwards. The tail of the horse is missing. This metal has a dark grey colour.

Description: The object is sub triangular in plan, with a flat groove running vertically from the splayed feet to the wider and thicker historic break. The flattened feet lay at 90º to the main body. Other details are indistinct and the surface appears to be undecorated.

Lead alloy tokens were used for many purposes during the Medieval and Post Medieval periods, and cast by both large and small industries. They are therefore very difficult to date, but those with initials are thought to date to the Post Medieval period.

A frament of lead-alloy or pewter Medieval pilgrim badge dating to the period AD 1300-1400. The fragment is sub-rectangular with one complete edge. The front is decorated in relief with a scene from the holy cross (e.g. Spencer 1998, 166, nos 180c-e). This includes a saint extending their arm and hand outwards. Above this is another field with dotted motifs. Below the hand is a rectangular field containing the letters 'GRS' reversed. An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy Cloth Seal dating from the 17th century. This is a cloth worker's personal seal. The seal is formed of two discs with a connecting strip and integral rivet on one of the discs connecting the two. On the obverse the seal has a bared T shaped privy mark with sideways S below. The reverse is undecorated.

An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy single-earred porringer dating AD164-1720. The vessel is circular in plan with gradually sloping walls. The single ear projects from the rim and it has an open work interlace pattern. The interior base is decorated with two dashed rings of chatter decoration. There are no visible maker's marks. The porringer is slightly crushed.

An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy button dating AD 1708 - 1800. The button is a flat disc with a separate looped shank (no longer present) which attached via a convex section on the reverse. The front of the button bears the device of the United East India Company - an E to the right, I to the left, V above, C below, all enclosed within a heart-shaped double pelleted border with a double pelleted cross in saltire separating the letters and a 4 above the entire thing.

An incomplete lead alloy pilgrim's souvenir of medieval date (c. 1300-1500).
Description: The bell is conical in shape but squashed slightly with a few holes and a section missing. The loop is also incomplete. There are casting seams either side. It is detailed with a thin band around half way that is decorated with lines. The bottom of the bell is bordered with circled pellets separated by small triangles cast similar in style to the band with the same lines.
