At the proximal end on the ventral surface is a bulb of percussion and a marked bulbar scar. Ripples radiate down the ventral surface. On the dorsal surface there are a number of flaking scars and the distal end has been abruptly retouched. The mid to dark grey flint has a mid-gloss patina. A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of early Bronze Age date. The arrowhead measures 34.2mm by 20.7mm by 4.2mm and weighs 2.6g. It has been invasively retouched over both faces. There is a small notch along one edge which probably reflects recent damage. The arrowhead weighs less than 8g and has a small length to width ratio, so this example is a Sutton type. The partially transparent mid-brown flint has a mid-gloss patina.
