Prehistoric flint knife fragment, 40mm long, 27mm wide and 7mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 9.80grams. The object is sub triangular in form and sub-rectangular in section and a lower edge formed by a clean break. The object has been worked on both edges, on one side it has been worked bi-facially with shallow removals on a straight edge and on the other edge has shallow removals on one side which run up to the rounded tip.

It has steep re-touch down the length of one long side, with a small central rounded notch in the centre of this. The opposite long edge has steep re-touch down half its length, terminating in a large rounded notch positione dopposite the smaller one.

Two similar Mesolithic to Neolithic flint knives. Both have long, thin flaking scars on the dorsal face and limited, irregular retouch on the rounded proximal end. Upper one in photo Length 56mm, thickness 6mm, width 11mm, weight 3.15g. Lower one Length 48mm, thickness 5mm, width 15mm, weight 3.74g.

Neolithic (Later) to Bronze Age (Early) discoidal knife, 51mm long, 45mm wide, 10mm thick and 31.1g in weight. Made on a dark grey opaque flint this knife has been fashioned on a large flake by bifical retouch that has blunted all parts of the edge. The bulb of percussion has been removed during the flaking process and the piece has been polished extensively. Small amount of cortex remains on the dorsal face.
