A Neolithic to Early Bronze Age core or hammer stone. The opaque dark brown flint has cortex on the top and bottom of the dome-shaped nodule. Flakes of varying sizes have been removed from all the way around the core. Some faces have sustained some damage which suggests that the core may also be a hammer stone. The length is 50.9mm, the width is 60.7mm, the thickness is 34.3mm and the weight is 138.92g.

Incomplete flint core with c.20% cortex remaining on one side. The remainder of that side has a natural break as does the top where the striking platform was. However the other side has 4 straight parallel arises showing where flakes or blades have been removed in a regular way. Negative bulb scars suggest the striking platform was level with the top of these sides. It maybe a piece of waste flint that was reworked to provide several straight blades/flakes rather than a regular core. It is pale orange in colour with large mottled inclusions and is likely to be local flint. It is probab…

Incomplete flint core. The piece shows signs of multiple flake removals from several directions; possibly working around a natural flaw in the flint. There is the probable remains of a striking platform at one end but this maybe a secondary platform. It is pale orange in colour with darker areas and is likely to be local flint. It is difficult to date precisely but by association with SUSS-3BBB61, SUSS-3BC417 and SUSS-3BA478 is probably Neolithic in date. 34.9mm long, 33.6mm wide, 29.7mm thick and 54.39 grams.
